No Plexus creates and performs experimental electronic music that is conceptual, through-composed and genre-queer. With Manicurism, No Plexus have set their music to the tensions between nature's brutal powers and our need to tame, control, and ultimately manicure it. In this trilogy of twenty-five minutes, unnatural forms in nature meet angular melodies and rhythms. Filmed with an arsenal of racing drones in collaboration with the Dutch Drone Gods (Red Bull, Armin van Buuren), the visual album features otherworldly locations that have been drastically transformed by human intervention: a man-made crater, a levitating mountain and a meticulously planted bonsai farm.
Composer Carmen Jaci and visual artist Matthew Schoen are founding members of Collectif Triangle - a collective focused on creating playful, surprising and forward-thinking audiovisual works. Their latest work Assemblages is a collaborative video where mechanical systems interplay with organic structures.
unluca★★★ is an up-and-coming electronic producer based in Amsterdam.
The party will take place in NDSM’s newest venue called MACA in Amsterdam on October 21st and coincides with the film’s digital release.
