Holy Other is the electronic project of British musician and producer David Ainley. In 2012, he debuted as Holy Other with the album "Held", a sensual, airy blend of witch house and down tempo electronics - where a variety of emotions such as desire, fragility, fear, pleasure and confusion all find a place.
The long-awaited "Lieve" (2021) - which originated on the British island of Wirral - breaks with a decade of silence. Though more obscure sounding, the album is also a continuation of the hazy soundscapes with the same experimental approach as its predecessor.
On Thursday evening October 20, Holy Other will give a very intimate performance at the Waalse Kerk as part of ADE 2022 and marks Holy Other's first performance in Amsterdam in ten years.
