Sugar Factory presenteert haar volledige line-up voor Amsterdam Dance Event 2018. Het is een vol en veelzijdig programma, met clubnachten, concerten en afterparties.
Wicked Jazz Sounds is a shared dance floor experience. DJs and musicians play together on a mix of black music taking you on a futuristic journey filled with funk, soul, hiphop, house, jazz and more… This years Wicked Jazz Sounds ADE special focussus on Belgium. Funkateer Pomrad with a live performance and rising star AliA. They will be accompanied by our residents Phil Horneman (dj), Berenice van Leer (vocals) & Kika Sprangers (sax).
Pomrad (Live, BE) - Funk has evolved into new forms in the last couple of years. Imagine a cyborg hybrid of Hudson Mohawke's bangin' beats, the bouncing boogie of DāM-FunK combined with screaming synthesizer solos a la Herbie Hancock. This would be the synth virtuoso Pomrad! He'll be performing with his trio: a drummer, keyboardist and him on keytar, synths and talkbox.

AliA (dj, BE) - 'Sometimes you are visiting an event and you realize that the DJ’s extremely varied selection and mixing technique is actually very, very good. So far nothing really extraordinary – but what if we told you that this DJ was only 17 years old? You can already imagine the surprise on our face at this first encounter with AliA. In the meantime, this lady has just surpassed the legal driving age of 18, but her dedication to soulful and electronic music in all its shapes is already astonishingly thorough.
