The Prophet - 25 Years and counting, All Styles Represented!
Today, marks a milestone as The Prophet celebrates an impressive 25 years of working in the music industry. As one of the pioneers of electronic dance music, his passion and history are truly one of a kind, with only a select few reaching such acclaim.
Dov Elkabas started way back in the '80s spinning vinyl at Roller Disco's and hiphop nights across the country and after falling in love with hard music in '92, he started to pave the beginnings of his impressive career as both a producer and DJ.
Since then, The Prophet has played at countless festivals, released music on infamous labels such as Test Crash Records, Boedha Records and worked closely with Thunderdome, ID & T and Q-dance in the evolution of the harder styles.
In 1999, The Prophet's tastes evolved as he become more involved with a brand new sound, which grew to become hardstyle and 2002 saw the launch of the now legendary 'Scantraxx Recordz'. After an impressive 9 years of solid releases, developing new talent and working with a multitude of artists, Scantraxx Recordz is the world leader in hard-dance, globally recognised as the worlds best hardstyle record label.
Still a visionary, and constantly active both on stage and in the studio, The Prophet continues to be at the top of his game rocking crowds across the globe and spreading his sound world-wide.
Reaching this level during a massive 25 years in the music business gives plenty of reason to celebrate and the coming weeks will reveal an extra special showcase of all things The Prophet with - 'The Prophet - All Styles represented'
