Patience is a true virtue, and few know it more than french-born, nomadic music producer Hugo LX.
What were you doing at the age of 17? Well, Hugo LX was collaborating with luminaries such as Large Professor and Diamond D, crafting jazz and funk infused grooves with a classic sound.

While travelling, he cultivated his passion for japanese jazz, electronic or ambiant music, leading to a radical shift in his production style.

He has been working for top shelf labels such as MCDE, My Love Is Underground, Balance and R2 Records. His singular releases allowed him to claim a special spot in the very active parisian house scene, subsequently granting him occasions to play his soulful, energetic and jazz infused selections in respected venues and to hit the road as well, whether in UK, Germany or Japan.

SOUL BONES has the honor to be the first in Antwerp to host this musical genius; expect the smoothest funky & soulful tunes,
giving the right amount of SOUL FOR YOUR BONES!

If you don’t know him by now, you've been living under a rock. BAFANA paved the way to recognition with his vigorous and jubilant groovy sets, sharing stages with Sadar Bahar, Palms Trax, Dan Shake, Soichi Terada, Roman Flügel, Patrice Scott, ... He travelled with his records from Israel to Portugal and now it’s our turn to host this connoisseur!
