In 1991 kwam deze muziekstijl op uit de Londense rave en junglescene, critici riepen destijds eensgezind dat de hype nog geen jaar zou duren. Het tegendeel is waar, anno 2016 is drum & bass nog altijd springlevend met wereldwijd een hartstochtelijke achterban. Ter ere van deze mijlpaal presenteren Fabio & Grooverider, ook wel 'The Godfathers of drum & bass' genoemd, op 23 juli in Paradiso het beste wat het genre in 25 jaar heeft voortgebracht.
To celebrate 25 Years of Drum & Bass, Fabio and Grooverider touch down in Amsterdam for a special showcase of the rich drum & bass history. Being part of the founding fathers of drum & bass, the influence this tag team has had on it's history is immense and helped it shape in to the vibrant scene it is today. This night, they’ll tell their story, while taking the Paradiso on a lengthy musical journey which will attract both hardened veterans with a trip down memory lane and the next generation of junglists, who’ll get some proper history lessons.
Supporting these two legends are MC Felon as well as Dutch youngsters NCT, who have caused big waves recently with releases on Hospital and Viper.
