World Wide Solidarity with AYOTZINAPA
What is Ayotzinapa? And what are we raising awareness for?
Exactly a year ago 43 students were kidnapped by Mexican authorities in the state of Guerrero, killing another 3 students on the spot. Just like the other 20.000 persons who disappeared in equally disturbing circumstances, the students were never found.
The government was slow to respond and still holds every accountability at bay, condemning the parents to unredeemable sorrow and despair in the middle of a persistent impunity. By now the failing rule of law Mexico has degenerated into a full fledged humanitarian tragedy, where new mass graves are discovered at a great pace and roughly only two in hundred murders are solved.
