► Concept:

After the great success of Cherry Moon’s yearly traditions, a big retro party at the beach during the summer and the fantastic Halloween Classic in the Jet Club in Sint-Niklaas, it is now time to present our most exclusive event so far: the annual celebration of the clubs birthday, the club you all got to love so much over the last 24 years.

This year we are celebrating the birth of the legendary Cherry Moon back in 1991. You can expect an exclusive event with very LIMITED capacity in preparation of the BIG BASH of next year when we will be celebrating a quarter of a century of 'The House of House'. And off course, that one will be massive!

De Kreun is one of the most known concert halls of Belgium which has been hosting the biggest names in show business for over 35 years. It has a dark, underground atmosphere with one of the heaviest & best sound-systems around... perfect for all the old-school Cherry Moon lovers who remember the magical days from 1991.

We start off introducing the masters of ceremony for the evening with one of the biggest old-school live acts around. Jones & Stephenson are a trance act consisting of Frank Sels alias Franky Jones and David Brants alias Axel Stephenson. They are mostly known for their Hard Trance track ‘The First Rebirth’ from 1993 on Bonzai Records which reached number 1 in dance charts all over the world. They don’t play live very often anymore but for our anniversary, they gladly make an exception!

Next on the list are our very own residents of the past, those dj's who made the Cherry Moon famous back in the 90's and still represent the club after all those years. Yves Deruyter and DJ Ghost are 2 men who don't need any introduction to the Cherry Moon people. The first is the producer of great hits like ‘The House of House’, ‘The Rebel’ and ‘Rave City’ and the second of great hits as ‘Blow the speakers’, ‘Push the techno’, ‘Desire’ and many more. Both were our heroes week in week out, when they were behind the decks, Cherry Moon was always on fire!

Next on the list is Dave Davis. He was also Cherry Moon resident for many years and a real musical jack of all trades, with many project and styles including Les Sabotages, Phrenetic System as well as Davis & Santini and JD Davis. Best known for his 90's hit ‘Transfiguration’. Don't miss this one because he rarely plays retro anymore. Luckily for his home-base, he is always in for some classics.

Next are the other main hall residents who will be playing on this night, Youri Parker and Franky Kloeck. For years providing the best beats at our club, they know what Cherry Moon people want and they will provide again!

Our first guest of the evening is Zzino, the long time resident of Montini. This techno dj and producer was a frequent guest back in Cherry moon in the 90's. Together with Sinesweeper he had several big projects as Accelerator, Montini Experience, Hyperpearl and House Trap.

We continue with Michael Forzza, who is a true purveyor of techno. Since '95 he stood and still stands for the global recognition of techno within electronic music as a known and respected producer with great tracks like ‘Kahana’ and ‘Elektrosphere’.

And also Bountyhunter will be in ‘The House of House’: another Montini resident and welcome guest at Cherry Moon as well as Bonzai member.

We are closing down with the 2 Foyer legends who will exceptionally start the night for this special anniversary: Mike Thompson & Alain Faber. They both played in the best known clubs in Belgium and brought the funkiest of sounds in our foyer. They will get the show on the road in style.
