Coming Friday a new Stad van Spinoza [vids|pics] party called "Things go better together" takes place is the Sugar Factory. This time we are going back to the essence of the party: it’s people. We think a party should be built and enjoyed together. Therefore we focus on bringing people together - so expect a great atmosphere, great entertainment and new friends in this homage to you.

We leave you with a snippet of enlightened prose from our host for the evening:

“I Pose: Things go better together. 'Up' only exists when there is 'down'. A 'bell' only tolls when it is met by a 'hammer'. One is lost without the other. Alone, satisfaction is stumped. In this way, people need people to be fulfilled. Here, two can bloom into the magic number. A number to unite, to rekindle, to join hands. So I call forth a celebration. An invitation. I ask for you to request the pleasure of a beloved, an enemy, or your secret. Anyone of your choosing. For at the door I will only welcome those who come in pairs.”

Yours faithfully,

Sir Chase-Felix-Ampersand

Background Stad van Spinoza

Entertainment and inspiration, next to strong line-ups and regular prices, that describes the parties from Stad van Spinoza. It is no more than a natural response to cash-cows without any content that illustrated the scene for too long. The focus of our parties lies on the guests and the artists, not the organizers, because these are the people that have to build the party. The organization just gives some color to this relation. For two years Stad van Spinoza hosts parties with this philosophy and is very successful in the Sugar Factory, Club Up/De Kring, Arena, the Sarphatipark and on the Canals. Next to ‘Things go better together’, Stad van Spinoza also developed other concepts like BOYCOTT and HOTBOX.
