Biografie
Mario Gucci, Bastard son from a dutch cinderella and a Greek/Egyptian Hippie-conman!
Started banging the drum at the age of 4 and has been at it ever since. In the late 70' he played keys and percussion in jazzfusion bands and participated in a several experimental underground synthesizer productions,.
In the 80"s he met some rasta lowlifes that got him really stoned and adopted him as if he was their own.
He started touring with the famous Rotterdam reggaeformation Unity,.
When the band broke up he bought an Atari and connected all his old and synths and drummachines,.
With some friends he squatted a huge warehouse in the Rotterdam harbor and they founded an underground party organisation/record label called cyb-x010.
Mario was soon playing hundreds of livesets in the dutch underground tekno scene and all over europe as mario010 since the early 90's till today.
Now,. Mario,. coming to age,. Just a bit tired of 20 years of guerillaparties and the fast pace of the incredibly dirty dutch underground acidteknoscene,. He decided to hand over the fast and nasty to the next generation and turn down the bpm a notch to take his livesets to a whole new level above ground and drop his acidbomb in the clubscene as Mario Gucci,.
Growing older in style with some upperclass techno!
With an eclectic liveset of acid-techno with a touch of dubwise-jazz and the old synthesizer heroes he is pursueing his mission to "bring music back to the dance scene and bring dance to the music scene!"
Currently also sharing his experience and collaborating with rising stars and legendary icons in the making in the dutch dance scene and is releasing new tracks on several labels.
