Biografie
At the age of 15, Andy started listening to all kinds of dance music. After few years of discovering which kind of dance music he liked the most, in 2008, his passion for Hardstyle was born. Andy then decided to buy his first set of DJ equipment.
After only a few months of spinning in his bedroom he sent out his first demo to a local hard dance event. The promoter was blown away by his DJ'ing ability and track selection. Andy had broken into the scene very quickly and it didn't take him long to get a set at Scotlands biggest hardstyle event, Infexious. Dark Matter is now a regular at most hardstyle events in Scotland.
Andy knew that with only mixing it's hard to become a real artist, so at the age of 20 he started to produce his own tracks. The first year of producing was pretty hard, but he never gave up. Step by step his tracks became better and better. At the moment the UK has very little to offer in hardstyle but Dark Matter is set to change that. By recently signing to UK hardstyle label My Mind Music he now has a solid platform to showcase his music.
