Biografie
DJ MattR made his first public appearance in 2009, playing at Rich&Famous, a party in Antwerp City. It made him realize this was all he ever wanted to do, but that there was still much to learn. So he started to put together some mix tapes, inspired by fellow DJ's and still searching for an own style.
In 2010 and 2011, Matthias improved his skills playing at a local bar every week. His sets became more powerful and diverse. Throughout the past years Matthias has done several guest DJ sets in Antwerp's most respected clubs. In 2012 MattR entered the SAE institute in Rotterdam, which gave him a broad knowledge of audio & production techniques. This was of course the ideal moment to start creating bootlegs and edits to make his DJ sets more exciting and original.
Nowadays DJ MattR is a resident DJ at The Missing Link, a small club in the north of Antwerp. In addition, MattR plays several parties in Antwerp and the rest of Belgium. Also, he's producing original tracks which may result in a first release in 2013.
