Biografie
Quinten Van Katwijk aka MISTERIUS started playing music at the age of 11 years old.
After a short period of time came the opportunity around to play at some local clubs where he would play a House, Minimal techno style.
At the age of 21 he was invited to the event Shut up and dance.
Here is where Quinten had his first psychedelic experience.
This event and new genre of music changed his life and opened up a whole new perspective into the world of music which would become the main core and structure of his life to this day.
Waisting no time he decided to start organising parties at a local venue where he worked,Within this time frame he had had his first
gigs within the psy trance scene.
He had progressed from playing with vinyl to CDJs and eventually switching to a full digital platform on Traktors S8 controller where he has developed his skills and style within the underground psytrance scene as a respected dj using up to 4 decks at any one time.
MISTERIUS has played a lot of parties and gained experience and reputation with his music over the years.
While never giving up on hosting his own party ́s and helping other organisations to grow and develop there events and festivals.
While travelling through the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, he has met a lot of people on his way and his network has grown.
One of the most important festivals to Quinten which he has had a huge part of helping to develop from the start and where he is now a recognised organiser and resident dj .
( ૐ P, R, T ૐ ), A private familiar festival in Germany where he has been allowed to grow and develop his ideas on music and art.
Other festivals where Quinten has played and helped with the organisation in some way are PSY FI Festival (Holland), Burning man (Holland 2016 edition) Solar Festival (holland 2016 edition)
Where he has had great experiences from Headlining to sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in the psy trance scene.
Music is the most important thing in his life "that will never change" !
