Biografie
Jay Psar is known for captivating crowds with his high-energy DJ sets and refined musical taste. With a keen ear for talent, he has earned his reputation as a music tastemaker.
In 2009 he discovered multi-platinum star Stromae and was the first to break the famous hit 'Alors On Danse' (Kanye West was featured on the remix). Over the years he has transferred his savoir-faire from the DJ booth to the music studio.
Mastering his production palette and cultivating collaborations with artists across the globe, which already includes Redman, Bunji Garlin, Konshens to name a few. In 2013 he founded BSSMNT, a group of DJ's and music producers whose first single "In The Air" (featuring Bunji Garlin) was sampled by Skrillex & Diplo on their project 'Jack Ü'. The title "Jungle Bae" was part of the album that went on to win a Grammy Award in 2016.
Driven by his bold nature and entrepreneurial spirit, Jay Psar continues to diversify his musical undertakings as an accomplished DJ, producer and founder of the avant-garde label 'Dropout Music'. He has since received early support from the likes of Diplo, Dillon Francis, 4B and Aazar. Most recently he was credited on DJ Snake's 2019 album 'Carte Blanche', for his contribution on the single 'Frequency 75'.
