Biografie
Dub Experiment is the solo monicker of Jurriën Konings, 50% of curly-haired melodic duo Gate 44. Under this new alias he explores the more heavier grooves on the techno spectrum combining influences from Berlin, Dub and Leftfield.
Being fascinated by electronic music from an early age, Jurriën has been putting out music with his brother since 2012. Brought up listening to a wide variety of music, with specific admiration for the synthesizer greats, sparked his interest in producing his own.
His production work together with his brother explored a large spectrum of electronic music, including breaks and melodic house. Dub Experiment allows him to manifest his interest in the heavier side of techno into more dance floor oriented cuts.
His sound is characterized by a crafty blend of progressive dub sounds, heavy rhythms and fierce basslines, claiming the listener's attention throughout his tracks.
Being no stranger to the Dutch techno scene both as a DJ and event manager, he brings almost 10 years of experience into his sets which are energetic, groovy and never fail to get the crowd dancing.
