Biografie
Dion has had a taste of success in 2021 and is hungry for more in 2022. In the past few years, Dion has been making strides in the music industry with relentless passion and dedication. With his captivating voice, charismatic personality and well-written pop songs resembling a blend of Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes he has managed to galvanize an enthusiastic and adoring fan base, and has gotten a co-sign from international pop star, Duncan Laurence.
In 2021, Dion released his debut EP 'Too Young Too Dumb' with its lead single 'Fire' being a streaming hit that was picked up by 18 different editorial playlists and – in the span of a few months – sits at just under a million streams. Furthermore, Dion joined Duncan's 'Small Town Boy' tour as the opening act, which had him playing some of the Netherlands' most iconic venues, such as Paradiso and Tivoli Vredenburg. He made his official national radio debut on renowned Dutch radio DJ Giel Beelen's show.
Cooper recently signed a publishing deal at Sony Music Publishing, in Duncan Laurence's sublabel. With Laurence as his publisher and frequent writing partner, the focus is on 2022, when the new songs are scheduled for release. Including songs that have been getting rave reviews from live audiences that have had the chance to hear them during the 'Small Town Boy' tour. The first of these songs is set to release on February 4th, 2022.
