Having already attracted attention through his production prowess, he is preparing to unleash a
plethora of new music in 2021 that looks set to further cement his position in the
industry.
As one of the most prominent rising stars in Israel, Roc Dubloc has been creating a stir in the
industry with his pioneering sound and ground-shaking live performances. He has truly earned
his place as a decade-long resident at Israel's iconic Funjoya festival, and continues to prove
exactly why he has caught the attention of some of the scene's greatest artists.
At the age of just 12, Roc Dubloc found his passion for DJing, soon realising that he was
destined to pursue a career in the field. By 2011 he was performing in clubs throughout Israel,
thrilling audiences with energy-fueled performances. But his major inspiration occurred when he
traveled to Tomorrowland that summer. His experience at the festival sparked his creativity, and
he soon found himself honing his talents in the studio. According to Roc Dubloc, attending the
festival kickstarted a new chapter in his artistic career, and with that came the realisation that his
biggest passion was the creation of music, inspiring him to produce tracks that were predestined
to wreak havoc at festival mainstages all over the world. Over the following years, Roc Dubloc
focused his energy on developing his sound, and this hard work has certainly paid off.
In 2017, Roc Dubloc debuted his first ever release 'Plata O Plomo', which made a significant
impact on the scene, reaching the top 10 in Beatport's big room chart. The release was so
well-received that it was soon snapped up by Hardwell's globally-acclaimed label Revealed
Recordings, becoming one of the most notable releases on the label that year. With Hardwell's
seal of approval, the record soon found its way into prominent playlists, earning it over 250,000
collective streams worldwide.
'Plata O Plomo' immediately drew attention from some of the world's finest electronic artists,
earning support from Hardwell, Fedde Le Grand, Benny Benassi, Ummet Ozcan, D.O.D, Max
Vangeli, Teamworx, Sick Individuals, Kill The Buzz, Mike Williams, Mesto, Brooks and many
more. That summer, 'Plata O Plomo' was played at many of the most iconic festivals and
venues worldwide including Tomorrowland and Ushuaïa, as well as being supported through
countless renowned radio shows.
Following on from this success, Roc Dubloc was recruited to perform opening sets for DJs
including Hardwell, Don Diablo, Tom Staar and Brooks. This kick-started the beginning of a
career-defining period for the Israeli artist, who soon found that his unique sound had attracted
support from all over the globe.
Having made such a large impact on the electronic music scene in such a short period of time,
Roc Dubloc looks set to continue on his upward trajectory, with plenty of new music in the
pipeline for 2021. With an impressive track record behind him, the young artist is certainly one
of the producers to watch over the course of the next decade.
