Biografie
At the age of 14 Miss Cyra developed her passion for the biggest youth movement of the world: the HipHop culture !
Growing up among B-Boys, MCs, Writers and Deejays Miss Cyra at first expressed her creativity in the form of the incredible Graffiti-Art. But with more and more HipHop- and RnB-Songs finally reaching Germany from overseas (e.g. SWV, Snoop Doogy Dogg, Mary J. Blige, KRS-1, Jade...) her deep connection to the actual music increased and made her wanting to change the output-form of her creativity into working directly with the music and the beats.
So 1997 Cyra finally made the decision to buy two turntables and a mixer and from that day on she practise her mixing, several scratches and backspins every single day. Some months later she and her best friend and DJ mentor "DJ Abrock" organized the very first HipHop-Partys in her Hometown and in the following years she gathered her first DJ experiences in miscellaneous clubs, youth centers and as the support-DJ of many different Rap-Concerts. But at this point her only motivation was the love for the music and the massive joy her hobby gave her.
2001 when Miss Cyra was working as a graphic designer at the famous record label eastwest records (Warner Music) in Hamburg she realized, that she wants music to become a big part of her future.
In 2003 Cyra downgraded commuication-design to her sidejob and put her full faith in the professional hands of her very first booking agency "boese&friends" in order to totally focus on her passion and to enter the big HipHop-Clubs and Partys.
By now Miss Cyra played in over 150 different clubs all over germany and even internationally in Taiwan, Switzerland and Austria. On top of this she can look back on some amazing bookings for e.g. Microsoft X-Box (Games Convention), Nike's Soccer Trainingcamp, Giga TV or yet a guest appearance on US-Radio.
Since 2007 even one of Germany's biggest disco-chain "MPC" and their associated booking-agency "Denny Deluxe Bookings" is thrilled by her entertainment-skillz and therefore make use of her talent regularly for many years now.
Miss Cyra's decision was certainly the best one she ever made and an end of her DJ-career is not in sight...
