For this third round, Italian electronic music pioneer Antonio Marki, who played alongside artists of the caliber of Chris Liebing and Matador, together with Alex Sharp will share the decks with residents our residents Ides of March.

With a sound inspired by labels such as Innervisions, Diynamic and Afterlife, this concept intends to give a platform, once a month in the heart of Amsterdam, to the best melodic house and techno emerging artists. After a sold-out first edition, Synesthesia set itself already as a reality to be reckoned with into the Amsterdam’s underground scene.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Antonio Marki
Antonio Marki started djing in 2004 using another nickname: Ant’one. He was able to revitalize the electronic scene of his home town Siena, that looked really stuck in those years. He was resident Dj of the two main clubs of the city. Essenza Disco Club and Vanilla Disco. Relative this time we have to notice the relevant collaboration with Metempsicosi Italia/Reflex Booking and the presence on stage at the 2006 N.Y.E in Fortezza Da Basso, Florence, playing in b2b with Marcos Baiano before Chris Liebing performance. During this 4 years Ant’One touched the stages of the main underground party in Tuscany: as Canniccia, Central Park, Meccano, Tenax MuM Privè, Casina Rossa,. At the end 2008 Ant’One quitted his musical journey and dedicates several years to complete his academic career and creates his own family. At the end of 2012 Ant’One came back to dj and in June 2013 born Direction Crew, an organizational event collective, and Antonio Marki. Thanks to the background achieved and the birth of Direction Crew, Antonio Marki literally smashed down the electronic scene in Siena and for all the 2013, 2014 and 2015 run around Tuscany, being present in many gigs. In September 2015 He create the project Ickarus, a night club inside the historical city center of Florence. Above all, He had the opportunity during the years to play along by side many international artists as Chris Liebing, Tobi Neumann, Stefano Noferini, Matador, Supernova and Mauro Picotto. From the beginning of 2016 Antonio Marki moved to Amsterdam and during the spring / summer 2019 it had the chance to perform at prestigious spot as the legendary club Panama Amsterdam and Tinì Sound Garden thanks to the collaboration with EAST Techno Collective and Reflex Booking. He prefers an intensive rhythm. His djset are often eclectic and colorized never missing the fullness of the kick using open and melodic sounds
Ides of March
The concept of Ides of March for Manuel and Pietro sees the light for the first time in 2018 in Amsterdam, where they both are based. The Spanish-Italian duo first met in 2016, to soon after find out their common interest in music.
Having set their international debut with their first melodic techno EP "XV-III" for UK's label Sequence Music in 2020 and the single "Corpus" on German imprint Club Mood Vibes, the sound that this duo brings in their DJ, Live sets and productions spaces from progressive and tribal house with electro bass lines to more melodic and melancholic shades of techno in a colorful blend characterized by the two's personal taste and musical background.
Since July 2020, they duo founded their concept night Synesthesia, where they bring the most exciting melodic house and techno talents on display in a new Amsterdam underground night that is capturing attention on the international scene.
Alex Sharp
Alex Sharp is Alexandru Hent, born and raised in Transylvania, Romania . He took his DJ name Alex Sharp in 2015 and have achieved massive success in his new home country Netherlands, as well as success in various international markets.
He ventured from being a organiser first to a full-fledged dj, music producer & label owner. He released his first EP Amsterdam in 2017, then Marrakesh (2018) where he includes two tracks, Eliana (“My God has answered me”) and Bracha “A blessing”. Alex Sharp is touring internationally, and regularly visiting and gig-ing in Norway, Slovenia, Belgium, UK, Greece, Spain, as well as shows in Czech, Ukraine, Germany, Austria, and shared line ups with heavy weight artists, such as: Matt Sassari, Ramiro Lopez, Ash Roy, Agent Orange, Ran Salman, Several Definitions, Spaceandtime, Olivier Weiter, Hubert Kirchner, Brlee, Marc Grabber, Dexon, Charlie Prince, Minitech Project.
