“The most thrilling new voice in British electronic music”, that’s Beatrice Dillon according to The Guardian. It’s no wonder that the debut album Workaround by the London producer Beatrice Dillon was praised by Pitchfork and The Wire. Dillon's tracks excel in precise production and range from minimalist techno with brass samples to dub with speedy tabla drums. For the latter, Dillon brings along tabla grandmaster Kuljit Bhamra, who recently launched the world's first electronic tabla.
𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱
Playground is the electronic outfit of Dominique Vleeshouwers, whose career took off to great heights when he became the first Dutch percussionist to win TROMP Percussion in 2014. Together with the Berlin keyboardist Benjamin Geyer, Vleeshouwers makes symphonic techno. For this occasion, the two are developing new material that builds on the success of their first collaboration two years ago.

STRP x TROMP will be opened by Fusus, a young collective of three multi-instrumentalists/producers who combine their origins in classical percussion with new electronic music. With an extensive collection of dissected drum sets, melodic percussion, synthesizers, samples and lighting effects, they build a bridge between analogue and electronic sounds.
