The summer of 2017 seemed to begin early this year.
For us it all starts on Monday when we can finally welcome you all to the 18th season of Cocoon Ibiza. Since October last year we have been doing all the listening and absorbing and evaluating and then the scheming and planning and then more listening. The harder you practice the luckier you get someone once said and we have been able to create 19 sensational Monday nights and the first smells so good that we can hear it from here
We present on the 29th May something special on the dancefloors of Amnesia

Sven Väth
It should not come as a surprise that Sven arrives tonight fired up. A summer tour is underway but what can matter more than the Cocoon opening party in Ibiza? This unbelievably will be the 18th time Sven has fired the starting gun for his party that everyone and his dog said could not work. He goes his own way, plays his own way and you see before you an indispensable part of modern dance music
DJ Koze
An easy choice to ask Koze to join Sven on the terrace for opening night. Whenever they are in the same building only good things can happen. An intuitive relationship and when Koze gets to work everything bubbles anyway. The perfect way to launch the terrace
CLUB
Nina Kraviz
Cocoon presents in season 18 an array of the finest artists currently treading the boards and this is the first of 5 for Nina and we wanted you to see her in the main room pronto. A fabulous artist and the place will gush.
Ilario Alicante
And there is no stopping him either. A legion of new fans and he will be here there and everywhere this year. A massive summer tour. Four shows for us in Formentera. Get on the bus early and experience Ilario in the main room for the primero time this season. There will be nil regrets
Dorian Paic
A quiet champion is heading for a big year. It can take a while somethimes but the genius of Dorian Paic is getting the attention it deserves finally and his will be one of the first noises you hear in season number 18
There you have it, the first is ready for you. . This time 5 artists of distinction and as you know everyone plays and keeps playing.
So happy to see you all again, if not today then somewhere along the way. It is going to be a really fine ride in 2017.
