GZG kan een gevoel van overwinning en trots niet onderdrukken bij de last minute aankondiging van hun traditionele Koninginnedagfeest. Lang zag het er namelijk uit of ze dit jaar geen plek zouden krijgen, ondanks herhaalde toezeggingen van de gemeente Amsterdam.

BELANGRIJKE UPDATE;
De gemeente is bang voor massale volksverhuizingen met Koninginnedag en heeft ons, en andere feesten, opgelegd dat we geen deurverkoop mogen doen.. We zitten inmiddels bijna op de helft, dus haal je kaarten in de vvk.

"I'm really sorry to tell my fans in Amsterdam this, but I'm having to pull out of the show due to unreasonable behaviour by the promoter (again) - he has changed set times last minute, from what was previously agreed, and I'm not able to make it to Amsterdam in time on the flights we have booked or that are even available. My agent has tried to resolve it, but the promoter has not done anything to help fix it - I will not be appearing at the GZG show on 30th and will not be playing for this promoter again" These promoters are a joke.

Jammer van LawlerInderdaad, jammer van de naam en artiest Lawler maar na wat "onderzoek" en verhalen van wat meer kanten te hebben gehoord is het niet zo'n gemis... Jammer hoe hij zich tegen alle feiten in uit op FB bijvoorbeeld. Heeeeeele goede vervanger geregeld, wat zouden we nog te klagen hebben?! Heb er zin in!

Then seeing this cynical suggestions online is just a final disappointment in what should have been a big performance we really looked out to. We don't wanna get personal like you are doing, but we really hope that the people who messed up are man enough to stand up and be honest about it. For your information, they have been already to us.
