Katy M or The queen of the turntables as her fans calls her. Musician, Music teacher, Artistic director, and House music enthusiast alike. Khadia Zizaoui made a name for herself as the first female DJ in Morocco, although facing all kind of cultural challenges and obstacles, she was decided to start a DJ career with a lot of passion and dedication.
She then spent many years playing in the most prestigious local clubs, events, holding multiple residencies in luxury hotels, famous radio stations and International festivals. She spent 5 years residency at one of the top radio stations in Morocco, Hit Radio, and been part of some international festivals such as Mawazine, French Connexion Music Festival and Sun Festival Marrakech.
Katy M managed to soon become a national icon open-format Djane playing multi-genres from the Disco classics and French Touch to the latest hits but without losing her ability to play for different tastes, Her talent was confirmed by developing a career; she was a Jury member of numerous competitions, pursuing her musical studies that resulted in her becoming a music theory and piano teacher, while also dedicating more of her time to support and guide young artists.
