Biografie
BASTETH is an Italian techno dj and producer based in Maastricht since 2017. Dark, deep and hard sounds are blended with words and melodic lines which come from self-reflections and try to give a positive sense of resolution.
Music inspiration has different sources, from ancient history to modern physics, that help to merge different things together and create some interesting contrasts.
The name "Basteth" is the perfect confluence of his big passion for ancient Egypt and his love for cats, Bastet is indeed an ancient Egyptian divinity.
Childhood has always been surrounded by quality music of several genres, piano and bass guitar lessons. The great passion in electronic music comes after a long time. Finally, after a Computer Engineering degree, he starts producing techno as natural expression of his feelings and thoughts.
