Richard Mordrake

Richard Mordrake is a Portuguese born artist based in the Netherlands, he started producing when he was merely 15 years old, producing a variety of music genres like hip-hop, house and mainly psychedelic trance. The spark for electronic music ignited a flame that burns brighter with time, he began to listen to diverse styles such as Dark Trance, Drum n' Bass, Old School House and Minimal Techno. 

In 2013 he discovered his passion in the realms of Techno, the first parties in the Netherlands had awaken something within him, euphoric and inspired, the time came when nothing else occupied his mind. He started Djing in the Netherlands in 2016 and since then he has shown growth in skills and he is one of the halves of the Eindhoven duo Riot Komplex.

The style keeps moulding each time and versatility becomes key in his artistic development, submersible, obscure and rhythmic may describe the main influences within the style that embraces this artist. From dissonant melodies and depths of melancholic darkness till harmonious and rough punching beats, your mind will reach climax and your soul will be cleansed.

Ambitious and determined to make dreams turn into tangible reality, apart from producing and djing, Richard aims to create his own techno concept in the future and create yet another experience for all the techno loving people. Currently he is one of the core parts of the Keldernacht concept from Eindhoven which has made him fully devoted to this project and has reinforced his determination in reaching his goal.
