Biografie
Based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, DJ / Producer Maria Helena has been a part of the Dutch dance industry for a few years now and by this time she has been moving the feet of a lot of party people. She drew the attention of the international club and festival scene with her performance at the world renowned dance party Sensation 'Welcome to the Pleasure Dome"in Amsterdam. Since then she has been flying from country to country.
She is a rising star and on the verge of breaking through to the main stages; her mainstage performance at France's biggest dance festival ElectroBeach in July 2015 is a recent example.
Maria Helena likes to define her signature sound as a seductive mix of Electro – Progressive – House – with Trap influences, always with a sexy warm feeling. She loves a full bass, catchy vocals, playful melodies and uplifting climaxes.
DJ-ing to her is more than just playing music; it's about creating the right atmosphere and to bring a maximum energy to the venue. There is only one thing important to her;
'With my sound I want to get everybody on the dance floor and all the hands in the air. It is all about having a good time. Come on lets party!"
By the end of 2013 the time had come for Maria Helena to record her own sound and to share it with the world. This resulted in the debut track titled 'MEET THE GIRL". She followed up her debut by releasing her tracks LOUDER, POPPIN' and I'M TAKING CONTROL. At this moment Maria Helena is working on a couple of Trap oriented productions which will be released shortly.
Composing tracks, writing lyrics, directing video clips, branding, constructing websites etc. etc.; everything is done in-house.
