23 En 24 november zal men het jubileum van 8Bahn gaan vieren in de hoofdstad van Gelderland, Arnhem. Op de vrijdag zal vooral het familie-karakter van 8Bahn de boventoon voeren. Op zaterdag 24 november is 8Bahn nog steeds heel familiair, maar ligt de nadruk op de muziek.
Five years after their first party, 8Bahn will celebrate their birthday on the 23th and 24th of November. Those five year consisted of innumerous clubnights, hostings, queensdayparties and festivals. A lot changed during the days, but the message that the founding fathers had in mind when they started 8Bahn stayed the same: provide progressive electronic music to the east of Holland while maintaining a familial and artistic feeling.
So what’s the actual birthday-plan? On friday the 23th the ‘Parkzaal’ of ‘Musis Sacrum’ will open up for a lovely trip down memory lane with a selection of the finest 8Bahn-celebrities out there. Names like San Proper, Einzel, Armin Pillen, Dimzen, ESHU, Eelco Couvreur and Rik Payne will combine forces in peculiar dj-teams that will reflect the (musical) past and present of 8Bahn.

Saturday the 24th, ‘Loods008’ will be the stage where 8Bahn’s musical brainchild comes to light again. Paul Woolford wil be headlining the bill. The Englishman kickstarted his carreer the last years with relaeses on Hotflush and Carl Craig’s Planet E and did mindblowing gigs at Berlin’s Berghain/Panoramabar and Detroit’s The Works. A side from that, Cinnaman, one of Hollands finest, visits 8Bahn for the second time this year and Bizet Reactions will play a energetic live-set.
