AMF - The Journey

2013 - AMF is born
In 2013, two of the Netherlands' largest players in the dance industry, ID&T and ALDA, joined forces to take the festival experience to the highest level. AMF took place in RAI Amsterdam where 30 DJs performed in 3 areas. The event featured Alesso, Armin Van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Fedde Le Grand, Hardwell, Steve Angello, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano and more.

2014 - A Successful return
After the overwhelming success of the first edition of AMF, in 2014 AMF moved to the biggest stadium of the Netherlands. The show took place in Johan Cruijff ArenA with Armin van Buuren, Dash Berlin, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Wildstylez and W&W.

2015 - Massive double edition
After 2 incredible editions, AMF expanded to 2 nights in the Johan Cruijff ArenA with Alesso, Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, DJ Snake, Hardwell, Klingande, Martin Garrix, Oliver Heldens, Robin Schulz, Showtek, Tiësto, Vicetone, Yellow Claw and more.

2016 - The Expansion
In 2016, AMF exceeded all expectations, growing into 8 events spread over 5 days. AMF took over 3 of Amsterdam's biggest venues: Johan Cruijff ArenA, Ziggo Dome and AFAS Live. 2017 - Back to the future
In 2017, AMF returned with a brand new show element Two Is One (II=I) where 2 superstar DJs who have never performed together become one for a once-in-a-lifetime performance. Hardwell and Armin Van Buuren put on an incredible show with their II=I set. They were joined on the night by David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Don Diablo, Lucas & Steve, Marshmello, Vini Vici, Yellow Claw and more.

2018 - Closer than ever
For the sixth edition of AMF, fans got closer than ever to their favorite artists. The brand new Party Pit is a deck right behind the DJ booth, accessible to only the most dedicated fans. Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat got a brand new meaning in the AMF Hotel. David Guetta and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike performed together for a revolutionary new II=I set. The other artists on the night included Axwell /\ Ingrosso, KSHMR, Lost Frequencies, Salvatore Ganacci, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Vini Vici and W&W.

2019 - AMF goes big
The 2019 edition proved to be one of the most popular as the capacity was increased in the Johan Cruijff ArenA to make room for even more fans from more countries. W&W joined forces with Timmy Trumpet to form the third edition of AMF's annual II=I concept. They were joined on the night by Alesso, Tiësto, Armin Van Buuren, Coone, David Guetta, Don Diablo, Jonas Blue and Mike Williams.
