Biografie
Proclaimed by dance music luminaries as one of the most exciting new producers on the scene right now, the dynamic forward thinking artist Lee Osborne took the dance music scene by storm in 2010. A DJ, producer and promoter for 10 years, and part of a well known infamous London collective alongside Ali Wilson, Matt Smallwood and Ben Gold, it wasn't until his remix of 'Automanual' became Marco V's most requested track in his live sets that people really started to sit up and take notice. Now armed with a pioneering original full catalogue of ground breaking material, Osborne is ready to take the game on in full force, it is his time. The self proclaimed release of 'Innocent' featured on WA-X Records was the prologue to the aforementioned rise and support from the World's biggest DJ Tiesto, only consolidated his new vision. Mondo Records soon followed up with the signings of the more melodic 'Eight' & 'Nine' but the the jewel in the crown was with Incharge's second signing, the original debut called 'Blow Me' which hit number 1 in the Tech Trance. Unifying once again with his long time production partner Ali Wilson during the creation of his much anticipated album 'Phenomenon' resulted in the creation of 'Absolute' which made Armin Van Buuren's tune of the week on the prestigious ASOT radio show. This was to be the A side of their first EP release on High Contrast including B side 'Monastery' which is also featured on the labels 'Best of 2010 ' and Ronal Van Geldren's High Contrast Presents album.
Into 2011 and a second EP with Ali Wilson stormed its way to the top of the charts and airwaves. 'Sonar/Flash" made all the right sounds as it gathered serious momentum and support getting aired on prestigious radio shows such as World #1, Armin Van Buuren's, 'A State of Trance" and Judge Jules's, 'BBC Radio 1" show. With his profie increasing and having already signed his track 'Nine" to Mondo Records it was the next track to be released in early March with Mondo selecting it to have the honour of being the labels 100th release. As yet more support reigned in with yet more airtime on Radio 1 it was then the turn of two remixes to come to the forefront. First Lee gave us his take on the massive, legendary Trance Energy Anthem by Rank 1, 'Beats @ Rank 1.com" which picked up significant support but which was only just an appetiser for what was next. Lee took no time in unleashing on the world his massive remix of 'Deadmau5 – Raise Your Weapon" and as expected it gained endless support. It received multiple plays on Radio 1 week after week, support from leading artists such as Judge Jules, Mark Sherry, Lee Haslam, Ben Gold, Myon & Shane 54, Ernesto & Bastian and many, many more.
With his profile elevated yet again to another level, it was the turn of legendary, Dutch, Trance label, High Contrast to come knocking on Lee's door.
With the label signing multiple productions, recognising Lee's talent, it wasn't long before they started to see release. The first release 'Questions" set the benchmark climbing high in the charts and receiving support from stars like Gareth Emery & Jochen Miller. It's follow up, 'N.K.M" followed suit by charting extremely well and to complete the High Contrast hat-trick, 'Interview" was recently released exclusively on the brand new High Contrast Ibiza compilation album. Not resting on his laurels or confining himself to one pigeon hole, Lee's next releases came on Slinky Digital, the record label of huge UK events brand Slinky. 'Flex & Facelift" were released as an EP had devastating effects. Both charted well into the top 20 and indeed top 10 on many download stores and over a month after release where still sitting pretty in most charts such where their strength.
With endless production success in 2011 it was only natural that Lee would convert this into gig success also. Recent gigs have seen Lee travel up and down the UK to various cities and in the non too distant future gigs will also take him to Asia and Ibiza but while his gig list increases his studio output remains as busy as ever. Coming later in 2011 will be plenty of brand new singles including the recently finished 'Virgo" and 'Circus" as well as remixes for some well known names in the trance world. Lee also continues to increase the success off is his new radio show. Hosted on leading, online station Afterhours.fm Lee brings his monthly show, 'Future Movement" to the Afterhours airwaves every 3rd Thursday of the month from 11pm GMT/12pm CET where Lee showcases in his eyes, the best in new and upfront progressive house & trance
