Biografie
Neodash Zerox grew up in the heart where the hardcore music was born, the Netherlands. Throughout his younger years he witnessed the start of early rave (1990-1994), the rise of happy hardcore (1993-1996), Old School Hardcore (1995-2000), and continued from 2000 and up. The mainstream hardcore from 2003 became boring and too industrial. From this point he wanted to hear something else, something with more variations and not the mainstream crowd. In this era he became aware from Terror/Speedcore and J-Core.
Terror, Speecore and J-Core became apart of his life real quick. It was something new, something fresh. Terror because it is fast, it has some nice technical ticks in it like with the older hardcore. Speedcore because it was just purely insane.. And J-Core because it was the old hardcore, but then better ! This era he met up with Sharpnelsounds Mugenjou Project that lived about 40 minutes away from him and not long aafter together to visit Sharpnel, who had a short vist to Holland.
Because J-Core was still unknown to Holland, he wanted to promote J-Core to the dutch public. And where to start best was at a dutch anime convention in 2005. With lots of hardships, lots of motivation to promote it, he finally got his chance in 2008. He went to Japan for a vacation, and ended up with a offer from Sharpnel to play at The Day of Hardcore. This unforgettable experience went to his head and wanted more. Together with a friend, they both started a new event organisation "Deshima Sounds", where the event will bring a japanese styled dance events with Eurobeat, Hyper Techno, Exit Trance, House and J-Core.
What started as a hobby for fun grew up to be a serious hobby. With two dance events a year, and some parties at anime conventions, lots of socializing he got a chance to play at a online party "Allkore Riot Kontrol"
2010 was a great year for Neodash. Here he came in contact with Canadian Speedcore Resistance's DJ Plague after he knew that Plague would play in Japan. In a very short period he befriended Plague and got a chance to play at various CSR related parties. Halfway the year Plague had to go back to Canada for some reason and got his chance to host his radio show "This is Terror" together with Chainsaw Madness at hardcoreradio.nl, another way to promote the music style he loves most to a bigger audience.
Having a few gigs, a few online events, 2 official cd releases and hosting the radioshow called "This is Terror" at hardcoreradio.nl behind his name, you can say he's pretty active and a bit experienced. Who knows what the future may hold.
