Biografie
DJRW celebrates this year his 30th anniversary as a Amsterdam based DJ with passion for progressive/underground styles of electronic dancemusic.
He has residencies at Warehouse Amsterdam, Rapido Events, Ladz (Club Church), Ruff, Pidi Radio and has done (regular) sets for Flexx Productions (Zurich), LAB (Paris), XXXLeather, PIG (Folsom Berlin), Hardon, The Boots (Antwerp), just to name a few. In the past he was resident dj at Amsterdam clubs like Fuxxx, Cockring and Club EXIT.
Besides working the underground & progressive sounds, he also aquired production and technical skills by organizing and hosting the Queensday open-air street parties (april 30th) in the Reguliersdwarsstraat, Amsterdam for 10 years, as well as various parties during the annual Amsterdam Pride that in the first weekend of august.
Favorite styles: techno, techhouse and tribal.
Dark, juicy basslines and steamy percussions are the essential ingredients of DJRW's sound. Merging it with a balanced sauce of sparkling synths and a minimum of acapella samples, he creates an energetic & irresistable sound for a massive audience.
