Biografie
Eelke Kleijn is a rare talent. With work stretching across film scores, deep live shows and incredibly well formed production, he crosses a boundary from electronic producer and into a true modern day composer. With peers and tastemakers standing up for this unmistakable imagination, the Rotterdam based music maker's potential has no bounds.
Eelke has released two albums and an array of first class remixes for the likes of John Legend and originals including his single "Celebrate Life" that was hand picked as BBC Radio 1's 'Essential New Tune.' Sony to Eskimo Recordings to Suara have seen the young Dutchman's vision in productions become world heard.
Defying limitations as an electronic artist, his work as a Hollywood 'soundtracker' has been seen in Parker, The Crossing, Wrath of the Titans, This Means War and Ron Howard's Rush trailer. His career is in a constant accelerating push to the top and 2016 was no exception. Venturing to Seoul to perform in South Korea for the first time ever, he celebrated stand out performances around the globe in Los Angeles, New York, Argentina and several other night long sets as well.
Furthering his cinematic endeavors, Eelke Kleijn released his bootleg for The Hunger Games song "The Hanging Tree" by James Newton Howard featuring leading lady Jennifer Lawrence. Having also built a new studio last year, Eelke spent much of his time creating new music leading up to the launch of his new imprint DAYS like NIGHTS.

Enkele dagen na de lancering van zijn meer dan vijf uur durende muziekproductiemasterclass op Armada University heeft Eelke Kleijn zijn fans opnieuw een reden gegeven om uit hun plaat gaan. Met zijn eerste single van 2022, 'Transmission', bevestigt de Rotterdamse dj, producer en componist eens te meer dat zijn eigenzinnige sound een meerwaarde is en op elk mogelijke moment het clubcircuit naar grotere hoogten kan tillen.

Mere days after the release of his five-plus-hour music production masterclass on Armada University, Eelke Kleijn is launching his first single of 2022 and subsequently giving his fans yet another reason to roar. Written on a flight from Amsterdam to New York during his first U.S. tour of 2021, 'Transmission' immediately proves to be the kind track that shifts the underground club experience to a higher gear.
Rotterdam's Eelke Kleijn introduces a fresh twist on his 2017 DAYS like NIGHTS release 'De Order Van De Nacht', courtesy of Anthony Samaha. Thanks to the Seattle-based producer's handiwork, the single's desert groove now boasts an instantly recognisable Mary J Blige classic. For those with finely tuned ears, the fusion of Blige's 'Family Affair' and Eelke's production is seamless, and the final mash-up undoubtedly breathes life into both masters.
Today (March 29) at 7:30pm CET Eelke Kleijn will be playing an exclusive live set atop the Mont-Saint-Michel in France. A concert with no on site audience, produced and broadcasted by Cercle in collaboration with the Departmental Council of Manche, Attitude Manche, the National Public Establishment of Mont-Saint-Michel and the Centre des Monuments Nationaux. 2

Op 4 september draait de Nederlandse DJ en producer Eelke Kleijn een 9-uur durende set voor de online editie van Burning Man: Multiverse, in de Amsterdamse Marktkantine. Voor het eerst in haar geschiedenis verplaatst Burning Man het festival naar een virtuele wereld. Waar voorheen eerder alleen een beperkt aantal bezoekers kon komen, stelt Burning Man zich met een virtuele editie open voor een miljoenenpubliek.
Rotterdam's finest Eelke Kleijn trakteert ons vandaag op het eerste voorproefje van zijn nieuwe album, de follow-up van 'Moments Of Clarity' uit 2018. Voortbouwend op zijn muziekcarrière, met shows over de gehele wereld, combineert Kleijn clubtunes moeiteloze met integere downtempo melodieën voor de thuis luisteraars.
