Biografie
Many artist bios like this begins with the story of digging the parents vinyl collection at the age of 6 illustrated by a picture with a little kid in headphones. The DJ who named himself after the Egyptian crocodile head god does not fit in the sample.
In the early 2000's the raging drum'n'bass fever in Budapest was the first real electronic music experience for Sobek. The raw sound and the sleepless nights were replaced soon with a deeper interest in current music trends: parallel digging domestic record shops and some others across Europe he learned to spin two hi-fi turntables with forefingers in order to achieve the correct speed. The repertoire ranged from the very beginning a broad spectrum of hip-hop, electro, house, drum'n'bass, breakbeat, easy listening, found in the colorful, but still black collection. The persistent record collecting turned into an increasing high speed e-digging; the confusion in abundance caused choking styles and falling stars, so he started to focus on ultimate musical genres. The respect for hip-hop is eternal, but it became more and more clear that for protrusion he has to forget several sounds and the too wide musical spectrum. House music and the early roots of house led him to destiny; the attention is mostly on pumpin four-to-the-floor rhythms. He likes the positive message in house music and techno, touched by different cultures and nations, folk elements but he is quite opened anything new in the scene which represents value.
In 2012 he joined Hi!Fly a well known and more popular group which seeks to be an active but not overflowing color in the Hungarian day and nightlife, importing the best artists in the house tech-house scene. Resident from the early days on famous daytime events Citymatiné and also in Aether club.
