Yugen is that indescribable feeling you get when – sometimes only for a split second – you are confronted with the universe's infinite beauty. According to some sources, this ancient Chinese/Japanese word means 'beyond intellectual calculability.' Others call it 'a connection to something higher.' Most agree, though, that a proper translation is yet to be found.
When words fail to express the ineffable, music offers a helping hand. Yugen is also the name a new electronic music incarnation. Listening to his music, it's hard not to sink into a state of contemplation. Not only do his bombastic soundscapes and mesmerizing rhythms conjure up images of mysterious beauty, they also appeal to some of our deepest emotions.
Yugen is not new to the scene. As one of the driving forces behind the Konstrukt imprint, he has already released a series of tracks under different monikers.
