Welcome to the seventh edition of the Gigstarter Artist of the Year!
More than 9,000 artists from eight European countries are on the Gigstarter platform. From singer-songwriters to rock bands and from jazz ensembles to classical musicians. To highlight the greatest talents of the platform, Gigstarter organizes the annual Artist of the Year competition. We began the competition with 160 participants and only six acts with the most online votes will perform at this special corona-proof edition!
Our winners will be chosen by our expert jury. They will be introduced to you very soon!

Om de grootste talenten van het platform uit te lichten organiseert Gigstarter de jaarlijkse Artist of the Year competitie. De wedstrijd is met maar liefst 160 deelnemers gestart. Alleen de drie acts en drie DJ's met de meeste online stemmen gaan optreden tijdens deze speciale corona-proof editie!
Onze winnaars worden door onze deskundige jury gekozen en zullen binnenkort aan je worden voorgesteld!
De livestream bestaat uit:
- Een gestreamd concert van 60 minuten: de pre-recorded live videos van max 10 minuten van elke finalist zullen worden getoond
- Live interviews met de winnaars in het Engels
- Live bekendmaking van de Artist & DJ of the Year 2020
